Profile

I read Philosophy and Mathematics at the National University of Mexico (UNAM). I did a PhD in Computer Science at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (then part of the Universidad of London) under Chris Hankin's supervision. After finishing I spent two years at the Applied Mathematics and Systems Research Institute and then moved to the School of Science. I have been head of the undergraduate Program in Computer Science and the postgraduate Program in Philosophy of Science at the UNAM. I belong to tier I of the National Research System (SNI).
